Rewards?

Has anyone noticed that Sephora has not been updating the reward section? I have been wanting to place an order and have been keeping my eye out for the rewards since I have a good amount of points accumulated. To my disappointment I haven’t seen any update. I keep seeing the same rewards and most of them are sold out. On my end I’ve seen the ciate glitter flip, sol de Janeiro bum bum cream, lotus cream, smash box mascara, makeup forever and nest roll on. I went to my local Sephora and they didn’t have any point except two 500 point box that I didn’t care for. I know Sephora supposedly updates their rewards every Tuesday’s and Thursday but I haven’t seen them update anything new. I want to know if I’m experiencing a glitch on my app or something.

Today is the first Tuesday of the month so should be a good day for a rewards drop but so far only in the 750 section.... hopefully something better will drop on Thursday.

I am sorry to hear this. New rewards over 750 points are updated every Tuesday and Thursday around 9 AM, PST. However, 100-500 point rewards are typically added at the beginning of the month. We are going to continue to evolve Beauty Insider over time, and we'll make sure your feedback is heard.  Thank you for being a loyal Sephora client!

Thank you for letting me know. I could have sworn I’ve seen more reward activity in the past, I used to be Rouge member until recently. I used to make weekly purchase so I find it odd to be seeing the same sold out rewards for weeks.

It’s now May, and there’s ONE 100 pt reward, and EVERYTHING else is sold out. It’s been this way for MONTHS. What is going on?

 

Fyi, You’d frustrate customers less if you took the page down and said “under construction”, or even posted a notice that Rewards are being discontinued (disappointing but at least stopping the limbo we’re in), than leaving what amounts to a dead page there, and letting frustration continue to build. 

 

I work in marketing - this is not consistent with what i expect of the Sephora brand - it’s not providing a good customer experience.

I’m sending my friend a gift from Sephora right now and wanted to use my points to make it look nice with an extra item or two. They still only have one 100 pt reward 😞

Hi thanks for the info Rebecca. I waited today to buy my second order since it’s Tuesday after 9am and the beginning of the month, but there aren’t any new rewards or choices still.

No, that's not a glitch, they just haven't been updating the rewards section. I saw on Tuesday they added another liquid lipstick to the 100pt section, but that's it. Something I used to notice is that they used to drop a new set of rewards around the beginning of each month. I don't know if that is still happening, but it could explain the lack of rewards?
