Return without receipt

Hey guys, I recently received the Laura mercier skin perfectly as a gift and it oxidizes on my skin terribly. I was wondering if I’m able to return this without a receipt? It’s only been used once but I have no proof of purchase .

I am sorry for this item is not working out! Proof of purchase would be needed for a return or exchange. If you do not have a receipt, the purchase may be verified with the purchaser's Beauty Insider account information.

Aw dang okay, it was bought as a gift and this person doesn’t have a beauty insider account. Thankyou anyway.
