Retuned and paid help

hello I placed an order for a dyson limited edition using the 20% off. My order was supposed to arrive next week. I just received an email now saying my order was “returned and paid”. What does that mean?? Why did this happen?? I called customer service and they said it was sent back to the warehouse and couldn’t find me an explanation as to why? I didn’t cancel the order or modify it or anything. And apparently the only way to honor the 20% off is by placing the order through phone. Which I am not ok with. Sephora completely screwed me over and I can’t believe I am having this horrible experience after being a long time customer, this has never happened and nobody was any help.
