Refund Request- Huda MR Broken Palette

To whom it may concern,

I hope this message finds you well during the hectic holidays!

I gifted my friend a LANEIGE Dream Team Lip Set and the HUDA BEAUTY Mercury Retrograde Eyeshadow Palette for Christmas. She opened both early and sent me the picture below. While she loved both, unfortunately it seemed that the palette had been broken upon arrival.

This was quite disappointing seeing as how this was going to be her first high-end eyeshadow palette. If possible, I would greatly appreciate it if another palette could be sent to me so I can give her an unbroken set. However, since she lives quite far from me now and cannot give me the broken one for a while, if this would require an exchange could I possibly instead just opt for a refund of this purchase so I can just Venmo my friend the money so she can buy it herself?
