Promo code lamerskin : items out of stock

The order has been confirmed with the promocode lamerskin but once everything has been paid i received an email saying that the la mer product has been removed from my order because out of stock! Can i cancelled my order and wait for the product to be available to redoit? The promotion email has been received the same day but it is unusable how can it be possible?
