Prom makeover questions?

I’ve booked an appointment for a prom makeover next month and I’ve never gotten my makeup done before. I usually just do it myself, but I want it to be flawless for prom, so I decided to have it done instead of doing it myself. My skin is oily and I’m afraid of having it slip off during prom, so can I request that my makeup artist use certain oil control products, like the Becca Ever-Matte primer? Or an oil control foundation and powder? And do I have to bring any of my own products? It says the makeover is free with a $50 purchase, but can that purchase be a gift card since I don’t know exactly what they’ll be using on me? I’m so lost. Also do you think it would be ok if I did my own brows? And can I bring my own eyeshadow inspiration? This is what I’d like:

When you go in store for your service the Beauty Advisor that assists you will ask you questions about your skin type, any areas of concern etc. They should also prep your skin before application as well. Feel free to also ask any questions that you may have about products and you should definitely bring in a photo of the look that you would like for your prom. You do have to spend $50 at the time of your service and that can be $50 on products or a gift card. I hope that this helps and I hope that you have an amazing time at the prom!
