Product says not for resale?

Hi, I got my moisturer home, Bosnian Catcus water... when I opened the box, my container has a not for resale sticker on it. And a “G” written in sharpie. Is this a used item?

I'm sorry to see there's a "not for resale" sticker on the item you purchased! As the item was purchased in store, I recommend contacting your local Sephora store directly for information regarding a return or exchange. I'm sorry for the inconvenience!
