Points used Incorrectly

Hello! I purchased a gift for my sister and she went to return it on Saturday, 1/24. She used my phone number in order to pull up the receipt to do the return, but she was also making a purchase at the same time. She said she reiterated to the cashier that the return was through my account but wanted to make the new purchase on her own account. She said she went as far as putting her own phone number in on the key pad. After doing so, the cashier said she had 1700 points and asked if she wanted to use 1000 for $20.00 off. She was excited learning she had points and said yes to using them. Unfortunately, it appears the cashier was still functioning within my account and used my points! Is there anything that can be done to reinstate the points on my account? Could she return the product and have the points refunded back?

@AshleyDossey I'm sorry for the confusion! Unfortunately, the points would not be refunded if she returned the product.
