Pick up order given to another person without the bar code

I ordered the Sephora Advent Calendar twice for two different people but the calendar was only available for pick up so I double checked with my recipients if they would be able to visit said branch of Sephora. I added the name of each recipient in their corresponding gift as an alternative person for pick up. I checked my orders to see if the gifts were picked up and both were marked as picked up so I checked with my friends if they like it but then I learned that one of the recipients was not able to travel to said branch for pick up and I learned that my other friend received two orders. How come they sent both orders to one person when they only have barcode for one order. I remember them scanning the barcode when I picked up my order before. Shouldn’t each order have their own barcode. I live in a different city that’s why I asked my friends to pick up their gifts on the said branch and the branch was not near their homes. It was just the one who has the calendars in stock. So in short  need to order a different item to be delivered for my other friend as her previous gift was sent to someone else but I would like to ask how come both orders were sent to one person without said person having both bar codes. Since the other order did not go to the intended person. I would like it to be refunded.
