Order cancelled no explanation

  1. Hello. I placed an order about an hour ago for approximately $320. Now I suddenly get an email saying my entire "order was cancelled to either a system error or an inventory issue"?? My order was supposed to be Christmas gifts, I know there's plenty of money on my Sephora card so I know it's not a lack of funds. If items are out of stock, it should say so Before going through the checkout process. And if it's a system error, the selected items should automatically be placed back into the cart so that they can still be purchased once the error is fixed. My account doesn't even show my order at all now, even as a cancellation! This is extremely disappointing!

I have had 9 orders cancelled over the last few months. I've contacted and resubmitted those orders several times. I got the excuses that my payment didn't go through - despite my CC statement stating otherwise and they had to issue a refund. I was told that I had to do some kind of verification separately through email over the course of 3-5 business days and they would email me some special form. Never showed. I have been told that the delivery date wasn't one that could be honored and that is why it was cancelled. But it was standard shipping and I didn't CHOOSE a date - it was the one they gave me. 

 

There seems to be an issue with their system or something!
