Only liquid items can be given as samples in store?

Is it correct that you can only get samples of liquid items at the Sephora store? This is what i was told when i asked for a sample of the Too Faced Ethereal Powder.

Nope. I've had powder foundation samples made up, and even taken home a lipstick sample or two! I'd ask to talk to a manager or senior associate at your store.
