Hi! Does anyone know if you made a purchase online using a gift card and return the item by mail do you get a physical gift card back or will they email you?

@Carita509, you would receive an online store credit. Please navigate to the return policy section titled, "Sephora.ca Purchases" and view the first table titled ♦ Returns by mail. The last row in the table states how the refund will be processed if a gift card is used. Thank you!
