OnTrac Delivery a Joke

I've complained to Sephora time and time again, and looking through the posts here I see I'm not the only one. OnTrac is the worst, it's a subpar, unreliable shipping service that Rouge and those who pay for 2 or 3 Day Flash Shipping should not be subjected to.

I placed my order on Sunday and was excited to see it shipped on Monday. Then I saw the tracking number and my heart sank. I now knew that my expected delivery date was totally up in the air. Well I was right! It was scanned at the shipping facility on Monday evening and then on Tuesday IT DIDN'T MOVE AT ALL. It just sat there, for an entire business day. Now it's Wednesday and a huge storm is moving into the Sierra Nevadas, making it pretty hard to get a truck through. As of 8:30am they updated that it's delayed due to weather. WELL ACTUALLY if the package had moved west on Tuesday as it should have this wouldn't be a weather delay. It's supposed to be out for delivery today, not still in Utah with the mountain range between us. Heck, it shouldn't even be in the Bay Area as I live a couple hours south and the weather is beautiful here for it to be out for delivery.

Rouge status doesn't seem to really hold any perks that makes loyalty to Sephora worthwhile in my book. I'd get better deals using Ebates to buy directly from the manufacturer oftentimes and enjoy their occasional discounts and deals. Now because OnTrac couldn't be bothered to move my package on Tuesday, it will likely be stuck in Utah through Thursday while this storm moves through. So I likely won't see it until Monday next week. Oh, and here's an article from late last night (as of posting it was updated at 9:03pm PT Tuesday) warning of IMPENDING bad weather, not bad weather on Tuesday that would have prevented it from passing through the mountains.

The two pics below show it was shipped by Ontrac, the lack of movement followed by the claim that it's the weather's fault, and today the 16th as the day it was supposed to be delivered if OnTrac didn't hold onto the package all day Tuesday.

Beware “Flash”....Same....I’m a VIB rouge and both the “free” 3 day shipping has never showed up on time, and now the $15 flash subscription I just signed up for with an order on the 23rd is worthless - product didn’t show up in time for my trip, *still* wasn’t delivered and apparently it was sent...priority US mail?!?? That is not “flash 2 day guaranteed shipping”. That’s false advertising. Priority mail isn’t guaranteed in 2 days. I won’t be ordering from Sephora anymore when other suppliers honor their expedited shipping commitments. You’ve done this to me for too many years and reading here the other many comments, you have no intention of ever fixing it. Sad as I like your store.
