No receipt Exchange

Can I return an eyeshadow that was a gift with no receipt? My mom paid cash and was told I would get a notification (email) if she used my insider card, which I have never gotten from all my past purchases, so there’s no way to look the purchase up in the system. I called Sephora Canada help line and the girl on the phone said I could but when I went in to exchange they said I couldn’t because there was no proof of purchase.

As @kaaaylarr mentioned, if the purchase was under your account or hers, then the Cast Member can look this up that way. We recommend contacting another store to see if they can assist you with this. Thank you!

If it's on your account as a purchase you shouldn't have a problem they can pull it up through your membership if it was used.
