Lost package

Good Afternoon,

 

My package was shipped with FedEx more than a week ago and the current shipping status keeps being “out for delivery” for several days now (even though it’s already in my city and zip area). 

This is so weird and never happened to me before, I’m afraid the package could have been lost. So I filed a claim with FedEx but in order to process the claim since I’m not a shipper they requested a waiver authorization letter on the shipper's company letterhead waiving their right to file a claim on this shipment with the applicable tracking number.

 

Not sure if I’m in the right place asking but please any advice/ assistance here?? Is there anything else I can do to finally get my package or a refund?
