Lost Sephora cologne certificate.

I bought my boyfriend the Sephora favorites cologne sampler back in September. He lost the certificate that comes with it. I emailed Sephora already and have the receipt. Is there anyway this can be resolved. I’m so annoyed cause the sample set was expsensive just for him to lose the certificate and us being out of luck in redeeming for a full size cologne.
