Lasership - Parcel not received by sender

I placed an order on 5/23 and got a notification email from Sephora that my item had been shipped on 5/24. The estimated delivery was today, 5/26. I checked the status of the package today and it says there has been an exception and my parcel was not received by the sender. Does that mean my package has not even left the Sephora facility yet? I am very confused with the Lasership updates and am worried I will not get my package!
