Kat Von D Contour Palette

I just purchased online the Kat Von D Contour Palette because of the refillable pans. I received my order today and it almost looks like the powder shrunk in the pans and the light colors have cracks in them. Has this happened to anyone? What’s the return policy on a defective item?
