Insider sale code not working

Today is the last day of the Insiders sale, per the email I received, and the code should be good through 11:59PM tonight, but when I try to use it, it tells me "Sorry, the promotion you entered has expired. Please select another promotion code." Can I not combine this with my birthday gift or something?
