In store samples!!

Hello beautiful ones! Happy holiday preview! Today went to my local Sephora 10 o’clock this morning for the holiday preview event, I purchased two things that equal to $30. I only received 2 samples and the one sample only had a skin of belif eye cream! I had two people helping me one was getting me the eye sample and Char, she was super nice, color matching bye bye under eye concealer color for men Char also put it on which I was happy about but wanted a small sample but didn’t want to make a big deal. She was super nice but I wanted a sample of the concealer but the other woman gave me a color match instead!! I had a great experience but since I got color matched I received a text that we could get 25 points added to account but I don’t see the 25 points added!! I was a little disappointed when I came home to see a smudge of eye cream from the other cast member!! I didn’t get any kinda souvenirs water bottles or anything! I am happy I received a color match but I though I would get more samples and cool rouge goodies but nothing was there but a rack of holiday preview which was small!! Not what I expected but I would of enjoyed more samples and the 25 points for the color match!! Char treated me like a queen but I was disappointed in the sampling especially I spent $30 in-store today and spent about $20 or more online. I love samples!! Thanks for letting me vent!! Xoxoxo

I agree, this event was disappointing :(. I normally love attending these events and find them worthwhile. I brought a friend to this one so she could experience the "fun" of a private event and I felt terrible she came after showing up. The only added perk was the closed shopping event, but even at that I just shopped the 20% off appreciation sale so didn't have too much to look at. The location I went to had no brand reps available, or interesting things happening in store. There was one small rack of holiday items, a lot more was available online. I wanted the lashstash (I know wasn't in the preview email) but it showed available online and at the location I went to. The store told me the information was wrong they never recieved a shipment. Normally these events give out a lot of samples (packets and deluxe size) and I love it to try new products and helps add to the event. However this one didn't have any being handed out. They had two baskets behind cash and with a purchase they would give you one sample but only if you asked. As well, normally there is excitement at the events and the employees make you feel "special" for attending. I definitely didn't feel any of that at this location. These events are the only time I feel appreciated as a Rouge member but this one left me underwhelmed and questioning it. Hoping they offer better in the future.
