How can i add points after purchase?

My boyfriend bought me some makeup from Sephora recently as Christmas gifts. He mentioned his phone number instead of mine at the cash registers. He doesn't have an account, he just thought I used his phone number when I made one. My questions are: 1. Supposedly, it's a lot of points. He and especially I don't want the points to go to waste, so would I be able to add the points from his purchase to my account? 2. I don't know what makeup he bought me, and he doesn't want to show me the receipt until after Christmas, because it'd spoil the surprise. Do the points expire, or do they have a time limit before they can't be added to an account anymore? Thank you in advance!!

I have a receipt from a past purchase I'd like to claim credit for too please. Since this seems to be a common issue, ya'll really should add a button on the website for this. Can someone help me please?

I submitted my receipt and info via email and have yet to see the points reflected on my beauty insider account.

Guys call Customer Service!!! They are so helpful!!! They could probably even just make your boyfriend his own account and you can change the phone number to yours later on. To reach Sephora’s Customer Service team... either by email or phone (I prefer calling so you can speak to someone in real time and can resolve your issue much faster) you can go to Sephora.com, scroll *all* the way down to the bottom... click the drop down list saying “HELP & FAQs”, then click “Contact Us”.... it will take you to another page.... where you can find their phone number and a way to send an email as well. I can also provide the number for you myself, if you are located in the United States or Canada. It’s: 1(877) 737-4672
