Glitter Flip applicator

I recently purchased the Glitter Flip lipstick, and the applicator seems to have a weird indent thing in it near the bottom. Is this how it's supposed to be, or a manufacturing flaw?

Does it look like the pic below?  If so then it's fine!  The indent is supposed to make it easier to apply since it hugs the curve of your lips.  If it doesn't look like that you should reach out to CS @Anonymous:
