Gift card not activated

My mom bought me a Sephora gift card for my birthday and when I tried to use it in the store today it wasn't activated. What can I do to activate it?

I was given a giftcard but couldn't use it, called to check the balance and i was told it hasn't been activated. how do i go about it?

Hi @ravnoscar, my apologies! If the purchaser was charged, I recommend they contact the store location where the gift card was purchased for assistance.

Hi I have same issue today. My boyfriend purchased for me on sephora app, put $30 in it. And sephora sent it to my home. But when I tried to use it, they told me its inactivated and there is no money in it. But it is impossible. Please can you help me too?
