Gift card glitching

 I am so confused. My gift card my aunt bought me has 200 on it. I already used it in the store once and it went through with a 40 dollar purchase. Now I’m trying to use it online and it says redeemed with the minus amount but is still trying to make me pay the full total and nothing came off the total. Wtf. Attached a pic.

I am upset because I got a 45 dollar gift card for here because you guys didn’t have something in stock and when I scratched off the scratcher to get the pain, it also scraped off the paper behind it so now I don’t know what the pin is.

I'm sorry about this! The pin is needed to redeem the gift card online. I recommend checking with your local Sephora store to see if they can redeem the gift card for you in store.

The order total will always remain the same. In your screenshot, it shows the gift card is covering $107.53 of the total, and no amount is being charged to your credit/debit card. I hope this is helpful and apologize for any misunderstanding this caused!

It still didn’t go through though. I got an error message which didn’t make sense. Everything else was correct on the order so I ended up giving up and just buying it with my visa which worked, so it was clearly something with the gift card which again, makes no sense. I guess I’ll have to use it in store and hope it works there? Thanks for getting back to me.
