Fleetoptics

  • I wanted to provide my experience with FleetOptics for everyone... It is not a good one. My package was set to deliver to my work. My work name was on the package along with my own.

 

On Friday my package said it would be delivered on Nov 11, I contacted the company via the chat (it wouldn't let me change anything in the form itself and kept giving me an error) and advised them the delivery address was a business and it was closed evenings, weekends and holidays, including Nov 11, as that's remembrance day. They told me they would update the delivery instructions to state this and that they would advise not to safe drop, as I advised the business was downtown. 

 

Today, I received a notification my package was out for delivery. I contacted the onsite tenant to keep an eye out just in case. We also have security cameras, so when I received an "exception" notice, I logged on because I had a bad feeling, to review the footage. 

 

The driver showed up at approximately 5:29 p.m., he stopped at the end of the steps, he did not approach the building doors, the building lights are always on. He put my package down on the steps, which I could not view due to posters on the door windows. He kept bending over the package. He then walks off. I cannot tell if he took the package with him, or left it in plain view for a thief. 

 

I contacted the tenant and asked him to go downstairs and look. At 5:36 p.m. he texts to advise me there is no package on the steps. 

 

I attempted to reopen a chat with the courier company, but it did not work. So I sent an email to them. 

 

I would also like to point out and praise Sephora. When I contacted Sephora regarding the delivery issues, the employee was wonderful. They are reshipping my package to my home (where I conveniently also have security cameras, in case the same company is used).

I’ve had two bad experiences with them this week!

 

the guy today threw the package on my top step! Could have had fragile things in it.

Reported him to Sephora and fleetoptics.

I made the above post so that more people can be aware of issues with this shipping company, as I am not the first and probably won't be the last either.
