Flash shipping

I am new to Sephora but I decided to order flash shipping so I could get my products earlier in time for the weekend to use them! I placed a order on June 4th. I got a shipping confirmation on June 5th. Ups says it should be delivered tomorrow between 8:30-12:30, but how is it supposed to ship when it has said since the 5th that the order is processed and ready for UPS and that’s the only update it says. It even says on UPS that it’s coming through ups second day air! I’m annoyed because I bought flash shipping thinking even if I ordered something on a Monday or Tuesday I could still get it by the weekend but I guess I’m wrong. The last time I ordered from Sephora on a Tuesday and used the flash shipping I didn’t get my package until Saturday. I’m just not sure why I wasted money On the flash shipping. I don’t have a full Sephora near me I only have the little jcp one that rarely every changes stock so I thought flash would be a prefect substitute since my Sephora store isn’t the best well i guess i was wrong. Does anyone else seem to have this slow shipping problem?

I agree. My 2 day shipping takes over one week!!! Ridiculous.

I couldn’t agree more!! Flash shipping is a joke. I have almost never received my items within 2-3 business days. I just placed an order over the weekend and it says it will be delivered on Thursday! I have had flash for almost 2 years and have been consistently disappointed. I try to go into the store to avoid shipping but find that a lot of what I need is not sold in that particular store..... ughhh!!! I really hope they fix it because I will definitely not be renewing and I sometimes have to order from somewhere else just so I know my products will arrive in time.

Hi Lori, I'm not sure how to send you a private message like you suggested, but I am having a problem with my flash shipping as well. I placed an order today and it's saying I won't have it until 7-24 to 7-30. That's definitely more than two days. Let me know how to send you a private message and I'll send my order number. I just had this problem this week and it’s the 2nd time it’s happened. I order over $200 of products early Wednesday morning. I have flash shipping and initially received verification that it had shipped, later I checked the delivery date it was supposed to be Friday. Today I check and the date has shifted to Monday. This is really irritating especially because there is a guarantee of flash shipping to be delivered 2 days after the order day. I contacted customer service via email and Instagram and basically I got an apology and 150 beauty insider points without any explanation about what happened or how they would make sure this didn’t happen again. I want what I bought on time. Honestly it makes me re-think ordering from here. I almost placed an order for Hum nutrition products, but now I think buying direct from their website may be better since Sephora can’t guarantee adherence to their own policies.

Heck yes! And it seems like the issue is for any tier of shipping. I placed two orders this morning at 8am  and picked expedited shipping for both. I am going out of town on Thursday and I can’t get to a store before then. When I placed my orders and selected expedited shipping ($17 per order) the  estimated delivery date I got was tomorrow (Tuesday June 18th). Fast forward to later on in the day when I get my shipping info and two my surprise my expected delivery date was Thursday the 20th. However it CLEARLY states on my order I paid for 1-day expedited shipping so it should have gotten to me by Wednesday at the latest. I immediately called CS and requested a refund for the shipping. You can’t charge $17 per order for 1-day shipping and then say well actually we mean 3-4days cause of processing time. They gave me the refund on shipping for BOTH orders, as they should. They have no argument. It’s poor business practice to misrepresent what you actual level of service is. They better figure it out before a good ole class action lawsuit comes around....

I called them too and they told me basically the forgot to send my order out? Like it was packed and ready to go it just never made it on the truck! I then got expedited shipping for free but it still came on Monday because they don’t ship on weekends. Then when I called they said oh sorry one of the products you bought is sold out I said why can’t you just take the package that was supposed to be delivered and send that one or take the product out of there and send it to me and I was told they deal with too many orders to do that! If they deal with so many orders shouldn’t their shipping be better??? But you know to make up for the issues, they gave me a extra sample and 250 points! Like yay that makes up for me not having foundation, concealer and setting spray in time for my event!!! Flash shipping is a total scam!!

Hello - (sorry, I do not know how to give a direct message) I also have this issue. I have the ROUGE status for a couple of years now and I have noticed that the flash shipping is gone for ROUGE members? I thought this was a perk of being in this status. I am right now about to purchase something (today is 8/6/19), and the checkout page does not present the flash shipping as an option, and I would have to pay 10 dollars for the 2-day shipping.  Is this perk not given to ROUGE members anymore? I recalled that this Flash Shipping was something I received every year when I continue to reach this status....   please kindly help.

Rouge gets 3-Day Flash Shipping for “free” now. I have multiple orders that should have been here by now but they aren’t due to arrive until the 9th according to tracking. (I placed the orders on August 2nd!)
