FALSE ADVERTISING- CREDIT CARD APPLICATION

How many people have been scammed into thinking they could use their temporary Sephora card when applying for their Sephora Credit card but when they try to use it they get an error message? Then Sephora reps tell you to contact the bank then you contact the bank and they say they can’t help you at all.. you have to wait for the physical card. 

JUST CURIOUS. Has anyone successfully used their temporary card??

My Sephora credit card application process has been an absolute nightmare. The bank they work with is horrible.....no human will speak with me on the phone about it. I have not received any letter in the mail telling me what next steps I need to take. When I call customer service they say that the application team will not answer any questions over the phone and refuse to even confirm the address they have on file. So disappointed. Do not apply for the Sephora credit card!!! Such a scam.

Same thing with my temp card. Couldn't use it, I kept getting an error. I called sephora and commenity bank, I was pretty much told had to wait for the physical card. 

Now I get a letter in the mail from the bank that accounts on hold for fraud investing? I literally JUST got the card and haven't even used it. It's so frustrating. I just wanted the discount and now i get an error -.- can't use that!

I'm seeing sooo many people complain this card is a scam. I'm probably just going to cancel it, terrible!

Hi @chacha00 I'm truly sorry to hear about this! I recommend contacting Comenity Capital Bank directly for more information regarding your account being on hold. They should have more insight into this.
