Extremely disappointed that I lost my $100 Rouge Reward

I placed an order a couple days ago with two products—a blush and a skincare set. My order total was around $100-something dollars. $107, I believe. I applied my $100 Rogue Reward—which I had been desperately saving up for, by the way. Boom. Everything went through. I was able to check out, got my confirmation email shortly thereafter, and did a little happy dance knowing I had just scored a couple of my favorite products for only $7 out of pocket.

 

Little did I know that Sephora would break my heart around 2 am the next morning when I received a notification that part of my order was shipped. Now I already knew it was about to be some 🤬 when I saw the words “partial shipment,” but nothing could have prepared me for how this situation was handled. Instead of just canceling the entire order—giving me the option to pick something else or wait until the skincare set was in stock again—my reward was applied to the $20 something dollar blush, and now my bazaar is saying I have 2,112 points.

 

So now after desperately trying to get to that 2,500 point mark—not to mention setting my calendar for noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays playing Sephora’s version of the Hunger Games to claim the reward—I have now lost said reward. When I tell y’all I’m heartbroken. I’m feeling all the feels right now as I’m typing this at 3 a.m.

 

I need to know how Sephora is going to make this right cuz ain’t no way I would have spent my hard earned points on a $20 purchase and just lost out on the other $80. Make it make sense. 🥲 I would have rather the entire order been cancelled, or hell, just charge my credit card for the full price of the available item and let me keep my points. Now I cannot return this product (which is a bomb product, btw, Danessa Myrick really did that with the yummy skin blurring balm powder blush) because I used my rouge reward. I would only return it to get my points back and then buy it back, but I can’t even do that because there are strict rules with using this particular reward.

 

Somebody please send help because as crazy at it sounds, I am DESPERATE for points right now. *insert spare points meme*

 

I just want my 2,500 points back. 😭😭 Y’all can keep the blush. I’ll buy it again later, but the points??? I need those back ASAP. 😮💨

 

tl;dr - lost my rouge reward after Sephora ran out of stock on an item; $100 credit applied to a now $20 purchase, so I essentially lost the other $80
