Emails about product I did not order

I continue to receive emails from shop@s.sephora.com about items I have not viewed, purchased, or added to my cart. No one has been using my account (which is connected to my email) to place orders and I have no mysterious charges on my card.

 

I called customer service the other day and they told me it may be a glitch within the app (?). I would appreciate some insight into why this keeps happening. I have changed my email password just to be safe. Thanks!

Exact same happening here. Has been going on for a little bit, both about items that “I just picked out” and asking me to review items “I just purchased”. I HAVE had my Sephora account hacked previously so every time I get these emails it causes quite a panic that it is happening again. Can someone advise why these emails are so wrong?
