Do not send gifts with Sephora

Sephora has a horrible gifting process.  If there is a problem with the gift the giver has to be involved.  Which makes it extremely awkward and ungracious.  Even Amazon has a better policy.   If there is a problem or even if you just do not care for it, you can return it for a gift card, and the giver is never alerted.   I received a gift, it had evaporated and was told my friend would have to call.  I had pictures but instead of returning and replacing.  I would have to have my friend a mother of 2 young children call or just have her money flushed down the toilet on a gift I did not receive.
