Do not promote the $100 gift card as a Rouge benefit

After having spent multiple Tuesdays and Thursdays checking the rewards at 9 am, I have never even seen it as an option until today. Today I was in the bazaar and saw a $25 card had been added. I clicked out of the rewards bazaar and immediately back in and the $100 gift card was available so I immediately hit “add to cart” and immediately went to check out. In the 5 seconds it took for me to click through to select my shipping address the gift card was out of stock. Seriously? I came to the forum to see if anyone else has the same experience and find TONS of posts with the exact same problem I am having (and many who can never get it to show up). I have been Rouge for at least the last 3-4 years but find that the benefits to being Rouge really are declining lately. Sephora should not advertise this $100 reward as a benefit of being Rouge if someone adds it to the cart literally as soon as it is posted and it sells out within the 5-10 seconds it takes to check out. That is false advertising of a benefit of Rouge. This is further problematic since the other rewards available are not nearly as numerous or attractive as they used to be. It makes me wonder if it really is worth it to concentrate my purchases at Sephora anymore.

I’ve gotten the $100 reward twice without issue but after theshenanigans I witnessed this morning, I do believe that everyone who hassaid this is a scam and false advertising is correct! I watched the $100 reward appear in the bazaar at least this times this morning and wasable to add it to my cart. The first time, I got an error saying my cartwas out of date. This was on the app. The second time I used the website (I was switching back & forth between the app and the web), and when Iclicked “checkout”, I had to agree to the new beauty insider TOS which I did, and then nothing would happen when I clicked check out. The thirdtime, I was able to click checkout but again got the cart error message.Also for what it’s worth, the $100 reward DID not start appearing in the bazaar until around 9:50am pacific time. I am curious to find out if anyone actually got one today? Because every time I either got an error message or the checkout button was disabled! Here’s a screen shot of the reward in my cart. When I hit checkout, nothing happened.

With all due respect, this problem has obviously been going on for awhile. I see several reports in this forum with the exact same problem. I strongly suggest that changes be made soon rather than “in the future” or Sephora is likely to lose many formerly loyal Rouge members...
