Different color for drunk elephant retinol.

I have used the sample of DE retinol before and the color is pale yellow(the upper one in the picture). It worked great on my face which made me purchased the full-size during the VIB sale. When I received the full size last week. The color is bright yellow(the lower one) and it seems like it cause a break out on my face after I used it for a week. I would like to know which color should it be for this product? Should I return it? Thanks!

I am sorry to see this! According to the product page of the Drunk Elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream, it appears that it should look like the sample that you received. If you purchased this item in store then you can always return or exchange this item as long as you have proof of purchase. I hope that this helps.
