Credit Card & Awful ordering experience

Hi Sephora Team,

In 2 days I built a cart of 18+ items worth over $600 for same-day delivery to Stuart, FL 34997.

I applied for the Sephora credit card for the 25% promotion, with over 800 credit score and immediate approval with any other Credit Card, but the application went into a 10-day review and I can not cancel the application or reach anyone with the Comenity Credit Card company to discuss it.

After building my cart, the next day the Same-Day Delivery option disappeared THEN my saved shopping cart cleared (in under 24 hours). Support could not restore the items.


PLEASE:

  1. Honor the 25% promo on the items I am purchasing. They immediately checked my credit report (there's not legit reason to not approve me) and the ad said "Save $131.25 on this order when you open and use your Sephora Credit Card today*". I'd like to be reimbursed for anything I buy today, as it was promised to get 25% OFF.

  2. Confirm same-day availability or offer an alternative with equivalent timing (speak to store on why this was removed).

  3. Share a contact for the Comenity credit card approval team to withdraw or expedite my application. No point if I'm not getting 25% off in time. I DO NOT WANT THE CC THEN

As I already said, I already spoke to Comenity Bank. It was a waste of time... they send you to a pre-recorded message that states they never discuss applications. I think Sephora customer support should try calling Comenity and asking for this before referring others (and wasting MORE of a customer's time).


I guess I just got suckered. I'll have to return the $700+ makeup I bought yesterday for a full refund, then repurchase it when the 25% off is finally available. Some of the products will be used. What a waste.

VERY POOR customer support capabilities and costly business decisions. I truly feel Sephora doesn't value it's customers at all after this. This is by no means anything against the employees (except read what the customer said before telling them to call CC AGAIN)... it's mainly against Marketing management's decisions and lack of ethics.

838 Credit Score and 6 figures a year... yeah, this is a scam CC offer that promises 25% off today but doesn't deliver for no good reason. ANY other card gives a response right away. I don't have a hold or anything.
