I recently got the Sephora credit card. The actual card came in the mail and it has been activated. I am unable to make a purchase online. It keeps saying Payment error - your payment could not be processed. Please verify that your card number, expiration date and cvn are correct and that your billing address matches what the bank has on file. We have reversed any pending charges to your account." Please help!
Same here so frustrating just used it two months ago zero balance and yet here we are trying to order birthday presents and nothing at all just the error.
How was this resolved? I am unable to make a purchase as well

Yes!!! This is happening to me too! However I was able to make a payment!!! But when I try to place an order online it says the same !! Did you find out what to do?
I appreciate your quick response. But my card it not expired. I just received it and it expires in 2024. It keeps declining my purchases and when I call it says it is active and ready to use.

I am having the SAME problem with the SEPHORA credit card I just got in order to use during this sale. The credit card company has the WORSTTTTTTTT customer service. I can not use the credit card using the sale and get the double points I was promised when I opened the account. I might have to cancel this card as the ONLY reason I got it was to use during this sale and get double cash back points. disgusted by the service provided. If you haven't done so yet PLEASE do not open an account!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree. I have ended up in tears BOTH times I've called the customer service hotline. The first time was because the card literally just DIDN'T show up and the second time was today when I activated the card and then it was declined with a $0 balance.

Just got this figured out! You need to call a representative and have them activate the card for you over the phone, this is the number 1-866-702-9946
Must be some glitch with activating your card online? But yeah, just talked to a lovely lady and had her activate it for me over the phone, and I was able to make my purchase 🙂
Mine won't work either but I just used it a couple of months ago and now it's displaying the same message on the app and online! HELP!!
