Credit Card Payment Error

I have been trying to make a purchase on Sephora's website for several hours and can't get my Sephora credit card to work. When I go to click place order, I get a message box saying: 

"Payment error - your payment could not be processed. Please verify that your card number, expiration date and cvn are correct and that your billing address matches what the bank has on file. We have reversed any pending charges to your account." 

I double checked all my information and I don't see any errors or inconsistencies. I have yet to use the credit card, so I can't figure out the problem.

I know this is an old thread but I am having the SAME issue! Won't let me use my Sephora Card. I just spent an UNSUCCESSFUL hour with online chat about this to get no resolution. I have tried everything.
