Credit Card Discount

Applied for the Sephora credit card to get the 25 percent off discount. I got approved, got the card in the mail and activated it/set up the online account. My Sephora app is not regestering that I have been approved for the card still so I am not getting the 25 percent off discount code. I called the credit card company, took forever to get through to them only for them to tell me that I have to speak to Sephora. Called Sephora and sat on hold for another half hour and was told the only way they can do it is for me to pick out everything I want and call back AGAIN, sit on hold for another half hour and they will process the order on their end and manually put in the 25 percent off. I would have never applied for this card if I knew this was going to be a problem. I was promised that code, I should not have to work so hard to get this. I have a newborn and don’t have the time to sit on the phone all day. I am going to tell my colleagues not to get this card. I really hope Sephora can rectify this issue and get me a promo code.

Hey I went through this too but and ended up calling 6 differwnt numbers. I never recieved any email or temporary card number to place my order online. You are sold at checkout to apply to save some money but can’t successfully make the transaction? I checked the fine print too it’s allowed day of.

 

anyway, after 6 calls, 2hrs there is no resolution. When that card comes in the mail I will be cutting and throwing in trash. Terrible

Hi @shnnonX, I'm sorry to hear this! Did you receive a notification from Comenity Capital Bank upon approval of the credit card? If so, can you please clarify if you've tried reaching out to them via the contact information from the notification?
