Charged twice

I heard of Sephora charging people twice for the same item but never thought it would happen to me . I was looking through my past orders and saw I was charged twice for the same brush with the same item # how does the system not catch that ??  Starting to think they do this so their sales number are higher . When I called customer service they said they can’t help me I have to go to the store and that they still may not refund me . I was so bewildered because this is fraud you are charging the same item twice !!! Is there any other way I can get a credit or refund without driving an hour to the store ? Has this happened to anyone else ?
