Cancelled order refund

I cancelled this order because of an incorrect shipping address, a few moments after I placed it. The payment, in PayPal, is still taken from my account in pending form- over $100 that I can't use.

I wrote PayPal to ask to clear this pending, and submitted a copy of the cancelled order notification. They said only Sephora can release this pending charge. I wrote to sephora customer service and was told to be patient and it can take up to 30 days?? Why would it take 30 days for you to release my money from a transaction that has been cancelled?

Please assist. Thank you.

As your recent order has been cancelled, please rest assured we have not charged you for it. The amount you're seeing on your Paypal is a temporary pending authorization and it will automatically drop within one billing cycle. I apologize for the wait!
