Cancelled order on gift card purchase

So I recently just ordered and cancelled an order that I placed, and I understand that I will get refunded my money and it will go back on my credit card. However, I used a gift card I recently received to pay for half of it. Does anyone know if my money will return back on the gift card, and if so when will that might be?

I just had to cancel my order because I forgot to put the VIB code in. I had used a 50 dollar gift card. When will the funds be restored to my card?

Hey everyone 🙂

I just made an order on Sephora’s site using a Sephora gift card for the purchase but then I decided to cancel it because I no want the item. When and how can I check my gift card to see if Sephora has refunded me for the order? I checked my gift card balance but it just shows the total balance instead of showing transactions/refunds..

Appreciate any insight! 🙂

 @SusieGee111 If you cancelled your order, the funds should be loaded back into the gift card within 24 hours.  It looks like your private messages are currently turned off. If you'd like me to check that the funds from the cancelled order have been restored, please send me a private message with your gift card number.

Hello I got a 50 visa gift card for Christmas and spent it on a Sephora purchase. Thanks so much. What about the other $40 that was charged to my paypal? It wasn’t taken out of my account but it is pending.

The funds will go back to your PayPal account, however, it can take a few business days to see the funds. I hope that this helps.
