Bite Beauty Prismatic Pearl Multistick

I purchased the bite beauty multistick in blush pearl and found black specks in it. I don't know if this is normal because I have it in different shades and this has never happened. It was the last one in stock at the store and I am wondering if it was used or opened. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I return it?
