Becca Ever Matte Primer

So I recently repurchased this primer, I've been using it for about two years. SO disappointed with this new one. The product is thinner and makes my makeup patchy, and my foundation won't even stick to my skin. Literally nothing about my makeup routine has changed. Do you know if they changed the formula, or did I get a bad batch? Also, do I need the original packaging to return it?

I own this primer too. I never know How I feel about it! It can pill up if you don’t let it dry completely. You should look into the Cane+Austin primer! It keeps me just as matte as the Becca AND has SPF 50!!!! It will definitely replace the Becca.
