Beauty Insider Points Expired

Has anyone else had their beauty insider points expire? I had over 3,000 points that expired at the end of December. I went online to make a purchase and saw that all of my points were gone!

 

I contacted customer service and they explained the policy, but I honestly expected Sephora to offer some leeway due to the global pandemic. Even Ulta offered an extension on points expiration to their customers. I've spent a lot of money at Sephora and even been Rouge in the past. Looks like it's time to take my business elsewhere. Extremely disappointed in the customer service of this company.

Same thing here, reward points vanished. Didn’t realize until about to place an order. Haven’t used them often simply because so often there hasn’t been products that interested me. But of course this time there was. Oh well there is always Nordstrom’s where you get Notes.

Points will expire if there is no activity on the account for 12 consecutive months or more. To keep your account active, you can make a purchase, or redeem a reward, or the birthday gift, within a year. I'll take a look further and I'll send you a message.

the same thing happened to me, I had 1800 points all of which I realized were gone when I was trying to make a new order. I called customer service and they said they could only give me back half which is only 900 points! This is so disheartening and really disappointing especially given my long standing loyalty to Sephora and the lack of grace during a pandemic. I feel blindsided by Sephora, where I’ve spend thousands of dollars. Can you please take a look into my account? Thanks!
