500 points - $10 off not applied


I was making an online purchase on Friday after having made a purchase in store that same day over 500 points. When I got to check out online, it gave me the option to redeem my 500 points for $10 off, when finally entered all my payment info, it said there was an error and that the $10 off couldnโ€™t be applied because I didnโ€™t have enough points, showing now the previous number of points I had, so I had to remove the $10 off from being redeemed in the purchase. 

Fast forward itโ€™s been a few days and my insider account is showing that those points were used for the purchase and the $10 were redeemed when clearly on the receipt, I paid full price and did not get the discount! 

what gives??
