35-36% Price Hike on All products in Sephora during “Sale”. Is this legal?

Why are the prices of ALL the products in Sephora hiked by 35%-37% today (April 6th 2025) during the Sephora "SALE"? Just last month I bought 5 items and today all of them are shown on the sephora site with a minimum of 35% price hike!! and when I see the same items prices in their original brand websites or ulta - they have the old non hiked up prices. its just sephora!! I feel so CHEATED. I have been shopping for years at Sephora especially during the sales. I have consistently been a Rouge member for years. I feel so duped. even today I see no forum discussing this price hike and instead i see so many influencers videos recommending what to buy during the sephora sale which happens every single time there is a sephora sale!!! Is this even legal ??

I attached screenshots of my order of the 5 items placed on March 6th 2025. And the screenshots of the same 5 items today on April 6th 2025 to show the price hikes.

2. K18 Biomimetic Hairscience Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask - 162$ today from 120$ - 35% Increase!

3. K18 Biomimetic Hairscience Molecular Repair Hair Oil - 88$ today from 65$ - 35.3% Increase!

4. Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm for Hydration & Shine - 32.50$ today from 24$ - 35.4% Increase!

5. Laneige Glaze Craze Tinted Polypeptide Lip Serum - 30$ today from 22$ - 36.3% Increase!
