14 digit gift card number

Hello,

I received a gift card for my birthday from a friend. The gift card only had 14 digits when I scratched off the back. She bought it from a local store so I know it's a good gift card. How can I use it? The store can't scan it and the website says invalid number of digits.

Were you able to get this resolved? I am having the same issue and Sephora customer service just told me to go to the person who gave me the card and tell them it isn’t any good.
