14 digit gift card number

Hello!

I received a gift card for Christmas and when I scratched off the back I only had a 14 digit card number and the PIN number. I am unable to make a purchase online and I have reached out to the customer service number on the back of the card and they advised to go in store to use the gift card. But I read other peoples post about this issue and they were not able to use the card in store. I am just wondering what are my options?

Hi, this happened to me as well. When I went to the Sephora store my card wouldn’t scan either. So, they told me to call customer service which I had already done. Another in-store employee suggested to ask the customer service representative to transfer the gift card funds to an e-card. But I don’t know if that’s even possible.
