$100 rouge reward

I'm just wondering how to go about exchanging my points for this reward?

I am really disappointed I had the $100 reward on my cart and the then the website froze and when the page reloaded it said that it is out of stock. Very disappointing Sephora I was trying with three devices and nothing worked from 8:55am

I always prefer to purchase at Ulta if they have the same products that I want to buy at Sephora.  Ulta has a very generous loyalty program and they actually give you a cash value in rewards that you can use on anything that they carry.  Sephora needs to change their program before they keep losing more people.

Started refreshing since 8:55am and nothing to be found. My girlfriend has been trying Tuesdays and Thursdays since last week and it does not work! She is really mad.

Truly disappointing. Back when it first released, I believe ppl were able to redeem it; however, I think now it's just clickbait. I do notice that it only appears on Thursdays. You'd always have to wait until 9:05 PST, keep refreshing your page. But there's no point because as soon as it's in your cart, no matter HOW FAST you check out, it glitches a couple times then says it's sold out!! Sephora should really do something about this! It AIN'T COOL. Same kinda goes with the $50 reward. I mean okay yeah it's 1500, better than the $25 which is A RIPOFF.

The 100 rouge reward is possible to get-but they wont let you spend it....its a scam

 

I finally snagged $100 gift card using 2500 reward points.  I placed an order worth over 100 dollars and redeemed it. Great right? NO.  Sephora cancelled the order. I have never had an order cancelled.   It was cancelled by their distribution center because one or more items were not available.  Now the gift card says its already been redeemed and won't work. I contacted sephora and their response was-since the order was cancelled by THEIR distribution center my reward gift was forfeited.  Forfeited? No-it was stolen by Sephora. I've since found others online with the same thing!!!!  They advertise these rewards and then don't honor them.  After multiple calls and e-mails they gave me back my points.........NOT ACCEPTABLE.  What if I had used cash? would they have cancelled my order and kept the cash? No-because its not legal and makes no sense.  A gift card is the same as cash....these cash rewards are SCAMS!!!! Disgusting Sephora.  I placed two orders within 3 days of this cancelled order-one of them was for the exact same items and surprise...since I paid in cash the order was not cancelled-it was shipped out same day.

This is not a glitch, it's a mastered way to make customers think we missed out. I have a big community of Sephora Rouge friends, and myself, that had accumulated a lot of points waiting to use them for the $100 cards and experienced exactly the same glitch, it's not a glitch if programmed to behave like that, or they only place it on the screen with no availability in their inventory. All of us in protest are trying to buy from the sites when having their own brand sales or going to Ulta for the the ones they share. it's simply dishonest and wrong. very disappointing.

Last week, on Tuesday and Thursday, I kept refreshing the reward bazaar page 30 minutes before 12 pm ET since they release 9am PT. When the clock hit 12, the $100 was no where to be found. At 12:05, Sephora released the $25 and $50 which were both gone in 5 minutes. Fast forward to yesterday, I called Sephora customer service rep 5 minutes before the release and at 12pm sharp he said $100 was already sold out.After venting my frustration for 10 minutes, he refreshed the page on his end and was able to get one for me. Moral of the story, Sephora’s Reward Bazaar page is extremely misleading! While Patrick (cs rep) was so helpful and patient, he also questioned why it was “sold out” even before the release. Either Sephora reps already select who receives their “limited” rewards, or Sephora just schemes on how to have their customers spend money for false dreams or even they distribute the rewards amongst the same people working with the rewards. Taking time out of your day to wait on a “lottery” reward isn’t even worth the hassle. Slim chance of you getting one any route you take! The cost to get 2500 points is more than $100 anyway. I didn’t get lucky, Patrick did and he works there, smh!

your lucky they even talked to you! when I called 10 minutes before the new reward release (it took them 5 mins to answer the phone) so 5 minutes before the release she told me to hang up and call again exactly at 9am PT. I even said "you want me to hang up and call right back? because it takes some time to answer the phone" she said yep. so ok. I hung up. and called right back because it takes some time. And the line was busy until 9:30am PT. I gave up and hung up and missed out on the reward that day cuz I tried to call.

Please, at least once a month have a full 24 hours during which we can check out the reward!

Totally relatable here.... I think being such a beauty giant, Sephora really shouldn't do this to its rouge members. Redeem a $100 becomes like a lottery thing. And honestly these days all the things in reward bazaar seem to have tiny value. Those rewards are not attracting at all, especially for rouge. Because we shop so much that we really know what is good and what is not. Sephora should show its sincerity to us.

I had over $200 products in my shopping cart and now I want to delete everything.

I’ve been a loyal customer for years as a rouge and buying most of my products through Sephora I am frustrated too! I think I will just go back to the main companies I use. Through out this year I have been very disappointed and I love cosmetics and beauty products I worked in the business through the 80’s and 90’s I am a grandmother but you would never know it. I have been using beauty and hair products because quality is important. I agree with all that are feeling this way about Sephora I guess it’s time to say goodbye Lancôme has pulled the same things with points on their home page. It’s a sad day! Too bad for Sephora I will discontinue my Play Subscription and I will have to do what works best for me.

I am frustrated by how difficult it is to redeem 100 rewards. I first could see all the options, but after I added it to my cart, the nest thing I knew was that it had gone. I tried several times before giving up. now I am reading all the complaints here. This makes me feel I am not alone. I am redeeming the points that were paid by my own money. To be honest, the ratio (1US dollar equals 1points verses 10 points equal 1sephora dollar) is already ridiculous, and on top of that, the company made it technologically difficult to redeem. This is not the right way to conduct business. And I am not sure the purpose of keeping the Rouge title. What's it in for me? 20% discount is nothing special given all the large number of promotions that all brands and merchants are offering these days as well as lack of full line of certain brands that Sephora is carrying. Consumers do grow smarter!!!

I have been trying for months. Every Tuesday and Thursday I have an alarm set right before 9am so I can open up the app and refresh the rewards. The $100 reward doesn't even show up. This is pretty ridiculous. It makes me rethink why I am even spending money at Sephora to get points. Why even spend enough to keep Rouge status? Is this reward even real?!

Its real-BUT ITS A SCAM!  you can purchase it with points, but they wont let you spend it.  You have to call the 2-3 times to even get them to send it the first time.  once you try to spend it-they cancel the order and do not refund the 100.00 reward.

I just tried using my computer and the reward did not appear. Then I tried on the app and it was there but then out of stock when I went to check out. This is extremely frustrating considering the loyalty and investment we make as rouge members to Sephora.

 

How can this run out within minutes? Need to more available or there can be a significant shift in loyalty to competitors.
