Night care routine

I still can't figure out the best way to take care of my hair at night. Any tips on wet and dry night routines?

Re: Night care routine

For dry, I usually add some oil (argan or coconut) to my hair, put it up in a loose pineapple on top of my head, and sleep on a silk pillowcase if possible.

I don't go to sleep with wet hair because its too crazy to deal with in the morning!

RE: Re: Night care routine

This is literally my same method! If I don't put it up in a pineapple I just wake up with a rats nest on my head! Plus the silk pillow case helps your hair and face! Haha

Re: Night care routine

When my hair is wet, I put it into several dutch braids to sleep in. Sometimes I'll wear the braids for a couple days but I usually take them down the next day. I keep my hands wet as I pull the braids apart and work coconut oil throughout. But sometimes if I'm feeling lazy after washing my hair I'll just put it into a tight bun on top of my head and in the morning it's still damp and easy to style.

For dry hair, I twist it up in a bun most of the time. I saw a video on fb using a long wrap from walmart and I have done that a couple times but I'm not too sure if I like it yet.

Re: Night care routine

Hi there!
When my hair is dry I put it up in a pineapple (flip my head and do a bun at the top with a scrunchie). I simply pull the scrunchie over and when making a ponytail, I don't fully pull out my hair to make a messy pineapple. I then take my long silk scarf and wrap it around the hair below the scrunchie- you can cover the whole thing but I don't tend to.
I still haven't figured out a way to sleep with my wet hair without it being difficult to separate and style in the morning but hope someone can help there!
