Briogeo Smell?

Can anyone tell me if it’s just me, or do Briogeo products smell REALLy bad? I wanted so badly to love everything after trying the repair oil (which smelled fine) but I tried both the Don’t Despair trial kit and the Farewell Frizz kit and the products smelled HORRIBLE! Has anyone else found this or did I maybe get some bad/old products? I love good-smelling products and I’m not typically sensitive to fragrances but this one didn’t even have a fragrance. It wasn’t a strong perfumey smell it was just a BAD odor. Not sure if I’m brave enough to try yet again.
