Say "REWARDS" 🎁 if any of you wants a follow from me. I'll only do it when I have time. Like today is perfect 👍🏻! But let me try first 👆. The last time I wanted to follow a person, my iPad said there was an error. I kept on pressing it and the exact same thing happens.  Over and over. So I'll just have to try my best. Best of Luck 🍀!

Hey Beauty Community! Looking for some product suggestions as I get more into makeup. Night shift worker here so I tend to have huge bags under my eyes as a regular part of my look. I usually just wear a mid-full coverage concealer depending on what I'm up to. NYX HD/CSWS shades 4, 4.5, 5, NARS radiant shade vanilla +/- 1, or it cosmetics in light or medium.  Just recently got into BB creams and have some trouble finding one to match. The only thing I've been able to find is some random Garnier drug store one. I have the new boscia, one but find it takes too long to apply/blend. Was wondering if anyone had any product recommendations that aren't the Dr. Jart BB's as I find they're too thick/dark/don't blend well. Also if anyone has tried the NARS glow foundation and thoughts?

As the title says, I'm looking for reasons as to why I should or shouldn't get the Huda tantour cream. I currently use the Kevyn Aucoin contour book ii (KA contour in either light or medium) and Tarte park ave. bronzer for contouring and bronzing. I don't mind using both products but I am wondering if anyone found Huda tantour to be a game changer. Was it easier and more convenient to use one product instead of two? Do you still find use for the products you used before? Does it last longer throughout the day compared to your other sculpting products? I'm mainly curious because I like the idea of using one product instead of two, but I'm also wondering if it's excessive to have them all.

Since you said you're new to skincare, I thought I would give you general advice instead of product recommendations. What works for me may not work for you. I have sensitive, combo, and acne-prone skin and my go to for the past 10 years (am 24 now) has been Mario Badescu. Kept my skin clear and supple for 7 years, until my autoimmune disease kicked in and my skin changed too. The main thing is that I have slightly drier skin and I am prone to hives and eczema now. I still use mostly MB but have expanded to Neutrogena, PCA, and Belif. It's important to note that pores do not shrink. Pore size is determined by genetics. What you're seeing is when oils build up in your pores and they are exposed to air. If dirt is mixed in, you get a blackhead. Best thing to do is get products that either lessen oil production and/or don't use products that are overly heavy. My favorite oil control face wash is PCA face wash oily/problem. You can extract the clear gunk (sebaceous filaments) and blackheads but it will always come back. It's just your skin being skin. You also cannot reverse skin damage, like wrinkles. Best thing you can do is get products that make the skin look more supple and plump. I recommend products with hyaluronic acid over collagen. Collagen is not absorbed by your skin, so you're literally washing it and your money down the drain. Don't take collagen pills either. Your body will break it down and turn it into every other thing it needs. Eye creams can be very expensive, but in reality you can use high quality face moisturizers as effective eye creams. You may also look to complexion products with mica, which diffuse light and give the skin a blurred-effect look. You want products that hydrate and moisturize. Hydrating products add water and moisturizers provide occlusive barriers that keep water in. I use hydrating products first, and then moisturizing products right after. Do not be fooled by organic or clean ingredients, some of them are rather ineffective when compared to their "undesirable" counterparts. The best thing you can do to protect your skin and reduce damage is sunscreen and limit unnecessary exposure to the sun. Sunscreen everyday and SPF 15 is fine if you work in an office. Make sure to use eye-safe sunscreen for your eyes too (I use Shiseido). Be careful of skincare ingredients. AHA should only be used at night, and you absolutely have to wear sunscreen. AHAs increase photosensitivity, aka skin is more likely to get damaged by UV rays. BHA is fine for daytime use. Serums have gotten wildy popular, so be picky about which ones you use. Most serums should only really be used at night, especially if you use makeup. Some of them just don't absorb fast enough for makeup application.

I prefer light to medium coverage and I really like Dior face and body. The finish is more natural but it gets more glowy throughout the day, as long as you don't set it. GA luminous silk is beautiful but I'm sensitive to it and I found all the shades to be either too pink or red leaning. Dior has a better shade lineup imo. My favorite thing to do for a glowy look though is to mix some Becca first light primer with my Cover FX power play foundation. It stays on all day too.

I had the same thing happen twice in a row! I took the first one back three weeks after buying the foundation and Sephora kindly replaced it with another bottle. Two weeks later, I'm having the same problem! I don't think I could have possibly used it all up in two weeks. I haven't found a tutorial on how to open the bottle just yet but I'm sure it's just a matter of time before someone on YouTube posts about it.

I am also fair with super light blonde hair and I love the Lancôme foundation! It’s full coverage and covers very well. I alternate between the Teint Idole and Renergie foundations and have to say that I like the Renergie better for coverage on my skin (I’m 50) but both are great. I personally think the Teint Idole is lighter weight than the Renergie. Good luck, have fun at the wedding!

Hi @CateCooper - I've also purchased a different foundation in the past specifically for summer, but unfortunately it's kind of short lived, so I've actually learned to just add a bronzer to my existing foundations.
